「専松山 願教寺 上棟式」
設計・監理のお手伝いさせていただいているお寺が、
ようやく上棟を迎えることができました。
敷地は、高松の中心部で、戦災で焼け残った住宅地。
敷地はある程度広いのですが、自動車が入るのがやっとの
細い路地に囲まれた、迷路空間。
当初、鉄骨造で計画していました。
工事が谷口建設興業さんにお願いするのが決まってから、
工事のためにお借りしようとしていた計画が
暗礁に乗り上げ、木造に変更。
本堂の大きな空間に掛ける針の方法も検討に検討を重ね、
難航した工事も、ようやく上棟式！
起工式の時もそうでしたが、難航しただけに、
また、多くの方々が関わって、その苦難を乗り越えたという、
「万感の想い」がこみ上げてきます！
工程との兼ね合いで、棟は既に上がっていますが、
取り合いの部分に半紙を挟んであり、
それを抜いて、棟を打ち込んで無事、棟が上がりました。
工事はこれから佳境に入ります！
監督の山本さん、営業の古川さんと力を合わせて、
祈りの場にふさわしい空間を提供できるように、
良い建築にしてまいりたいと思います！
